Die burgerregte-organisasie AfriForum was vanjaar vir die tweede keer deel van die Monumentale Cantus-koorfees wat op 12 Augustus by die Voortrekkermonument gehou is. Dié inisiatief is moontlik gemaak deur Vashti Trichard en Vaughan van Zyl, albei gesoute koorleiers en-afrigters, ten bate van die behoud en voortbestaan van dié monument, wat ʼn belangrike deel van Afrikaners se erfenis uitmaak. Die koorfees sluit ook aan by die herdenking van Afrikaans as lees- en skryftaal, met die stigting van die Genootskap van Regte Afrikaners (GRA) op 14 Augustus 1876.

Directed by Casper Franken of Shotopop, the majority of the video-making magic occurred at the WIZZ studios in Paris, France. Its making involved the design and creation of intricate paper cut-outs, combined with an elaborate set design, careful filming and incredible 3-D animated graphics.
