The reason we love the British & Irish Lions tours, is because it is the last traditional rugby tour. The Lions have over the years played in some epic encounters against provincial sides in South Africa and in this first video in our series of three, we look back on a couple of great tries scored against South African provincial teams in 1974 and 1980.
