Over the last 20 years, Johan Roets was the unluckiest player to never play for the Springboks. He was quite simply, a superb rugby player. Solid under the high ball and great on the attack, he could have easily slotted into any Springbok backline.
He retires after the 2007 Currie Cup, which was way too soon as he was in the prime of his career. But he did leave some great memories behind and here are a few of his greatest moments.
