Jacques Olivier was a very talented wing with a wicked sidestep who scored some wonderful tries for the Bulls and the Springboks. Unfortunately he struggled with injuries during his career and if that wasn’t the case, he surely would have won more caps for Boks. He played a total of 17 tests and was unlucky to miss out on Rugby World Cup 1995 selection.
He won two Currie Cups with the Bulls in 1991 and 1998 and will be remembered as a Blue Bull great.
