In this video Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum, reacts to the Nelson Mandela Foundation’s indication that it wants to act against Ernst Roets, AfriForum’s Head of Policy and Action, because of his “contempt of court”. This follows after Roets tweeted an image of the old South African flag with a question: Did I just commit hate speech?
Roets, who is currently doing his PhD in law, tweeted the image in an academic context on the day that the Johannesburg High Court ruled that the gratuitous display of the flag was hate speech.
