It is a relief to finally hear the Freedom Front Party uttering the words “Article 235” and “Self-determination” which has been their mandate since inception 25 years ago with the Afrikaner Accord.
A call to the government for a referendum for our people to decide whether they want self-determination is not new, the ULA and others, have already exhausted all internal remedies, over the past 11 years, to negotiate the same. If nothing else this will may put the question to rest: “Can self-determination be realised from a political platform?”.
Once the ULA has a 2M mandate we can demand a referendum with the support of the United Nations and we do not have to negotiate with the government as the result will be a self-ruling and independent country completely severed from the majority rule and communist oppression.
The ULA still encourages FF+ and other groups and parties to work together as we strive for the same outcome and need not go at it on our own.
